Finance Assistant
My client is an established organisation who have been established for over 25 years.

My client is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their accounts team. The main duties of the role will include but not be limited to:

Sales Ledger

* Coding and processing sales ledger (approx 150 monthly).
* Credit Control, chasing debt and ensuring payments are settled within terms.

Purchase Ledger

* Coding and processing invoices (approx 250 monthly) including cost centre allocation and Head of Department approval
* Handling supplier queries.
* Month end Reconciliations.

* Checking employee expenses and ensuring all receipts are received.
* Allocation of appropriate cost centre and department codes.

BAC's Payments

* Organise bi-weekly payment runs.
* Upload payment to the bank.
* Email remittance advise.

Credit Cards

* Ensure all receipts are received and coded to the correct cost centre and department code.

Petty Cash

* Distribution of Petty cash.
* Month end reconciliation.

Ad Hoc duties are required by Head of Finance.

Some of the main qualities my client is looking for are:

* 2+ years experience working within a Finance department.
* Good understanding of Accounting process and procedures.
* Ability to work independently.
* Good problem solving skills.
* Ability to priorities workload and work to deadlines.
* Well organised with a strong attention to detail.
* Strong multiasker.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
