Our client a manufacturing company based in Burton, is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk on a temporary ongoing basis to cover maternity leave.

Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for the Matching and Coding of invoices, etc.

Applicants must have previous experience of working in Accounts.

Duties include:

* Matching and coding invoices against PO's

* Reconcile supplier statements

* Dealing with supplier queries

* Prepare and process monthly payment runs

* Sending out remittance advice to suppliers

* Assisting with Sales ledger, raising of invoices

* Allocating payments to customer accounts

* Liaising with the Finance Manager regarding outstanding or delayed credits

* Maintaining filing systems

This role is offering a salary between £20,000 - £25,000 FTE depending on experience.
