We have another temp to perm vacancy available with a Knaresborough business who are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their team ASAP!

You will provide support to the Financial Controller and the wider Finance team in completion of all Purchase Ledger activities.

Duties to include:

  • Obtain approval for all invoices before processing
  • Enter transactions onto the Purchase Ledger
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts
  • Request supplier statements
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers
  • Provide financial information and support to the Financial Controller on an adhoc basis
  • Maintain effective filing system
  • Take incoming calls from suppliers to discuss invoices and payments

To be considered and successful in the role you will have experience in basic accounting exposure. You will have showcased the ability to work towards deadlines and possess strong communication skills. Overall you need to have a driven attitude, great enthusiasm!

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.15pm and you will gain an hourly rate of £9.67.

Hybrid working is also on offer with this role.
