Stock Coordinator and Purchase Ledger Assistant

We are working in partnership with a growing technology based company in Chesterfield.

Due to an increase in demand, we seek to recruit a Stock Coordinator and Purchase Ledger Assistant.

The role is a permanent full time position working in a friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive company where there will be opportunities to progress.

The key duties involved are:

  • Ordering stock from suppliers and obtaining quotes from suppliers
  • Goods-in stock control and monitoring stock levels
  • Organising deliveries and returns
  • Chasing credit notes from suppliers
  • Liaise with Engineers
  • Liaise with Sales and the Senior Management Team
  • Coding purchase invoices
  • Assess payments to key suppliers
  • Expenses and credit card
  • Involvement in projects
  • Use of Excel and the accounts package

Ideal candidates will possess some stock and purchasing knowledge - liaised with suppliers. Purchase ledger knowledge would be of benefit.

We seek a candidate who is motivated, proactive and someone who is able to liaise with internal and external personnel.

The salary is £20,000 to £24,000 per annum plus company benefits - pension, healthcare. There is on-site free of charge parking.
