Role: Senior Purchase Ledger Salary: up to 30,000 (negotiable) Location: Old Trafford Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am- 5pm Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd are proud to be exclusively recruiting for a Temporary Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a very busy, fast-paced Finance team based in Manchester.This is a 3 Month Contract which could be extended or made permenant.The purpose of the role will be to maximise the efficiency of the Purchase Ledger function by ensuring all invoices are loaded prior to each month end cut off, all expenses are paid on time, invoices are paid on time each month, dealing with Partners and a variety of other tasks which are listed below.Roles and responsibilities;Maintenance of supplier database and Purchase Ledger accuracyProcess purchase invoices and investigate any anomaliesReconcile supplier statements and investigate queried itemsManaging the query tracker to ensure all queries are resolved within agreed SLAsPrepare the weekly BACS run proposal and process payments once approvedMonitor and maintain Supplier Direct DebitsPost bank transactionsPrepare and communicate Aged Creditors / Supplier Spend Analysis on a weekly basis (Supplier credit limit spreadsheet)Quarterly credit checks on the main suppliers ensuring the files are kept up to dateAssist with reconciliation of petty cash where requiredAnalysis and maintenance of the accuracy of nominal codesAssist with the weekly cash flowAssist in the preparation of management accounts: particularly the GRNI and Debit balance reviews to feed into the month end for balance sheet reconciliationsTrade finance reconciliationEnsure all Purchase Ledger filing is kept up to dateCreating and maintaining process/how to guides for all tasks undertakenAdvise on challenges and suggest process improvementsAny other Ad hoc duties as requested The ideal candidate;Proven experience in a Finance roleExceptional skills in managing a heavy workload and conflicting demands, whilst consistently producing high-quality work to tight deadlinesExperience of liaising with colleagues from operational to senior director levelFirst class communication skills, personal confidence and the ability to influence othersIntermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint skillsMeticulous written and verbal communication skills If this role is of interest please apply following the link below or contact Charlotte SinarBy submitting your CV to Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd you are consenting to Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd providing you with recruitment services as an agency defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973 and authorising Tailor Made Sourcing Ltd to work seek on your behalf.
