Client Details

My client is a leading Building and Construction business who have grown considerably over the last several years and continue to increase their coverage across the UK. The business has determination to continue this growth and through acquisitions has seen a huge increase in its workflow.

Description

The role of the Senior Credit Controller will include:

Take ownership of more complex 'key' customer accounts
Manage multi million pound sales ledgers with circa 800 live accounts
Ensure accounts are effectively managed, relationships maintained and improved through effective communication
Oversee all invoicing requirements and ensure key accounts are invoiced correctly
Resolving errors in invoicing efficiently and swiftly as well as investigating queries and disputes
High level bank reconciliations and allocations ensuring any mis allocated payments are identified and correctly swiftly
Setting up new accounts, conducting credit checks and reviews with key accounts to support in customer development
Liaising and working closely with Sales division to ensure sales opportunities are maximised whilst maintaining credit risk elements
Reporting to management on aged debtors and advising on courses of action requiredProfile

To be successful in this Senior Credit Controller role the ideal candidate will have high volume exposure working on high value ledgers. You will have a demonstratable track record in effectively managing credit risk whilst supporting in maximising sales opportunities through effective engagement with various internal stakeholders. You will be used to working in a high volume environment and in the use of various ERP systems including SAP. A strong communicator and negotiator you will manage a high workload whilst also supporting colleagues.
