Senior Credit Controller

Description:

I am recruiting for a highly sought after international business based in Croydon who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to come in and take full ownership of the Receivables function.

Main tasks will include, but not be limited to:

Focus on a debt reduction project and then maintain a good handle on aging debt.
Build strong relationships with a wide client base and monitor complex accounts to make sure aged debt does not escalate.
Chase for payments via telephone and email
Monitor company accounts and debt to maintain company cash flow
Manipulate data on excel when delivering key figures to the wider business regarding outstanding payments on client accounts
Preparation and posting of bank transaction journals Reconciliation of bank accounts and intercompany loan accounts
Daily management of debtors ageing reports in different formats including Excel
Work with commercial teams to resolve any customer invoice disputes
Customer invoice and statement requests
Monitor all incoming payments
Financial release of sales orders in line with credit insurance and risk policy
Ensuring accurate movement/split of GBP credit lines across multi-currency customer accounts and multi-company (Click UK and Click US)
Reconciliation of customer accounts to agree back to ledger
Business partner with various departments and continually monitor the Company's credit policy where necessaryRequirements:

Must have exposure to multi-currency accounts (£,$,€)
