Page Personnel are working in partnership with a successful, thriving support business to recruit a Senior Credit Controller working from their vibrant head office in Neston. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skillset and be the continuity between the wider team and management.

Our client are household brand in the North West and pride themselves on being a key UK business. A fantastic opportunity has become available to support the Finance Manager in supporting the existing credit control team of 6, with a passion for reporting initiatives and overseeing the client direct debit process.

Description

As the Senior Credit Controller, you will act is the second in command in support the team, whilst you will not be a direct line manager to the wider team, you will assist with reporting procedures, managing the client direct debit ledger and supporting the finance manager in weekly remote client meetings, in addition to:

Producing debtor reports daily
Dealing and resolving customer and client queries
Liaising with relevant external bodies professionally where required
Chasing outstanding debts
Working within internal processes to pass of outstanding debtor accounts to relevant internal teams
Working to a high level of customer service at all time
Supporting with month end and year end account audit processes
Adhoc support as required by the Finance Manager
Cash allocations and updating in-house systemProfile

The successful Senior Credit Controller will:

Have experience dealing with overdue client/customer account management
Confident conducting difficult conversations
Immediately available and committed to a contract role
Outstanding telephone manner & communication skills
Maintaining an excellent level of customer service while being direct and honest
Manage a high volume of work in a target driven environment
Have a high level of customer service and process improvement experience
Flexible approach to task as well as prioritising workloads
Experience using Sage/accountancy software
Comfortable extracting data from ExcelJob Offer
