Sales Ledger, Revenue - Restaurants!

Our client is an award-winning hospitality group, which looks after some of the most well-known brands in the restaurant sector. With offices based in London Bridge, plus the added benefit of hybrid working, this role is very easily commutable - both for candidates living in London, and for those who are not.

The finance team is made up of many progressive, studying, people. All of whom are very sociable and tight-knit. They're looking for a like-minded individual to join the team in the Sales Ledger capacity.

You will be:

  • Reconciling company bank accounts to ensure incoming funds are both accurate and paid on-time.
  • Making sure any losses are accounted for an followed up within 24 hours
  • Raising invoices daily to customers - all of which vary in amount
  • Dealing with any banking queries - contacting the correct person at each bank to resolve issues
  • Managing debt - chasing payments over the phone and via email
  • Processing refunds where required
  • Running reports to managers - outlining overdue debt, and debt recovered for that particular reporting period.
  • Ad hoc projects and tasks in relation to the finance department

Skills required:

  • Good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Cash & Banking
  • Able to perform bank reconciliations autonomously
  • Proactive, able to take initiative. Get on the phones wherever necessary, instead of reverting to email by default.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Microsoft Navision experience (desired not essential)
  • Excel skills
  • 1+ year of AR or Credit Control
