Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Manager to join our Finance department. The position will report into the Finance Director.
Areas of the Sales Ledger Manager's responsibilities will include - but are not restricted to:
* Managing the accuracy and maintenance of billing customers' weekly, monthly and daily (ad hoc) covering, both residential and business customers.
* Dealing efficiently with any customer queries regarding their accounts.
* Manage the raising charges and credits to accounts.
* Authorise and assist in calculating any refunds that are due to customers.
* Provide reconciliation reports and review reports, ensuring that the customers' bills are accurate- with special controls over new customers billing for the first time.
* Maintain all aspects of the billing import and export process of service charges and usage charges within the billing and CRM systems: including reconciling invoices.
* Manage and maintain accurate pricing controls throughout systems.
* Close liaising with the Credit Control department and liaising with external suppliers regarding charges.

Sales Ledger Manager Criteria
* Prior experience of managing a team in a billing environment.
* Strong customer focus.
* Comfortable in using Microsoft Excel and ideally have prior experience of using Affinity Billing
* Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
* To be able to prioritise work and to be able to work on their own initiative.
* Strong team ethic.
* Adaptable: able and willing to use the companies billing platform and other software.
* Highly analytical in approach to the work undertaken.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
* Problem solving skills.
* Sense of humour!
Desirable knowledge and experience:
* Experience working as a Sales Ledger Manager in a B2C focused environment
* Experience working for a Telecommunications, IT or Managed Service Provider
* Experience using customer CRMs
