Sales Ledger

Description:

Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with a client who have a global presence in the telecommunications industry, and are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant for their Belfast office to cover a contract for a period of 12 months.

The main purpose of the job will be to manage the sales ledger and sales invoicing, dealing with customer queries by email and phone, preparing various reconciliations and providing general support within the finance team.

More specific duties will involve:

Raising sales invoices and resale invoices

Bank reconciliations

Checking, approval and processing of employee expenses claims

Various P&L and balance sheet reconciliations

Dealing with Customer queries - telephone/email

Other ad hoc activities as required

The Person:

Sales ledger experience including raising of sales invoices and reconciliation of customer

accounts

Bank reconciliation experience

Experience of using a computerised accounting system

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Credit Control experience

Experience working with Sage 200 software

A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work together with a high level of self-motivation
