We're currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Assistant on behalf of a successful manufacturing organisation based in Corby. For the right candidate their will be assistance with AAT study support.

Duties and responsibilities:

Raising and processing of all sales invoices
Sending out of customer statements
Processing and investigating debit notes
Allocation of payments onto the system
Client query resolution
Chasing of outstanding debt by phone and email
Production of month end reports - checking that all dispatched stock has been correctly accounted for
Reviewing of systems and processes and advising of improvements where necessary
Project work - opportunity to get involved in different areas of finance as and when required

Skills and experience required:

AAT qualification / studying desirable but not essential
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a high-volume sales ledger role in a FMCG environment
Ability to successfully adapt to changing demands and conditions
Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision is desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and support other areas when needed

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (40 hours per week)
