Hours: Full Time - Hybrid once competent in role

My client is an employer of choice with a very strong identity. Due to growth and demand they need another Sales Ledger Controller to join their team.

What duties are involved?

Reporting to the Sales Ledger Manager, the successful candidate will be working as part of a growing and acquisitive group responsible for the process of raising invoices and managing the debts of the business. The right candidate will be responsible for showcasing excellent interpersonal skills to both internal and external stakeholders. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to-
Develop a detailed understanding of all the Group's fees and charges.
Produce and issue client invoices and credit notes for allocated unit.
Ensure all outstanding debtors for allocated unit are chased promptly for payment.
Issuing chaser statements.
Liaising with internal stakeholders, to ensure all client fee queries are resolved.
Updating the monthly doubtful debt provision report.
Assisting managing the transition of acquired clients to new fee models.
Assisting with the take on of debt from acquisitions.
Ad hoc duties as required to support the wider finance team.
Adopt an open, honest approach and deal with all aspect client affairs with integrity.

Your personality and energy are very important to my client as they require a proactive, friendly, flexible and all-round team player to join their Sales Ledger team.

The client base for this company is extremely varied so you must be able to adapt your communication style to the different clients and stakeholder you will be working with. As such my client is open to different working backgrounds to consider for this role.

They will consider someone who already has Sales Ledger experience with some understanding or knowledge of Credit Control.

Or a current Purchase Ledger Clerk who wants to broaden their accounting skills by learning about the Sales ledger tasks.

Alternatively, a person who has had exposure working with billing or sales invoicing and credits, that would like to broaden their skill and knowledge
