We are working with our engineering client in Derby to recruit an experienced Sales Ledger Controller for their business based in Derby.

The role forms part of a busy finance team and holds responsibility for collection of sales and retention ledgers as well as supervision of the Sales ledger Assistant.

In this role, the Sales Ledger Controller will support the business by overseeing a comprehensive and efficient invoicing, credit control, cash posting and sales ledger reporting service.

Key Responsibilities:
*Manage the day to day Sales Ledger workload
*Producing daily invoices to customers
*Chasing up outstanding debts
*Setting up new clients
*Liaising with Project Management to ensure 100% right first time can be achieved with our customers
*Building professional relationships with customers
*Ensuring business cashflow projections are realised.
*Involvement with process improvements within the finance team and business
*Project work required for system upgrades.

Person Specification:
*Previous experience of sales ledger transacting.
*Good communication skills
*Solid team working skills
*Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
*Experienced in Excel and Microsoft office packages
*Ability to work to deadlines
*Preferred Education and/or Experience in Financial working background
