Sales Ledger Clerk - Up to £22,000 - Thriving Leeds based National Business

Description:

Axonmoore is excited to be working with a prosperous UK wide business as they look to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk. Based in their Leeds head office, you will report directly to the Credit Manager, and work alongside the rest of the finance team in relaxed and friendly environment.

You, as the successful Sales Ledger Clerk, will be responsible for:
- Posting and allocating cash to the ledgers
- Preparing credit notes for sign off
- Posting and emailing invoices to customers
- Logging of debit notes and keeping spreadsheets up to date
- Weekly banking preparations
- Liaising with internal departments
- Ad-hoc responsibilities

You will also have the opportunity to work with the Accounts and Purchase Ledger teams as part of your role.

Ideally you will:
- Have previous Sales Ledger experience
- Be Educated to GCSE level including English and Maths (A-C / grade 4 or above)
- Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills
- Possess the ability to work to strict deadlines and prioritise your workload
- Be competent on MS Packages (Including Microsoft Excel - V-lookups, pivot tables, sum-ifs)

There is also room for development and long term career achievement. Previous experience in a sales support role, sales order processer or a sales admin role will also be considered.

Salary - up to £22,000 + Benefits
