Sales Ledger Clerk - South Leeds

This is a fast growing, long standing, FMCG business, who have been running for over 40 years. With their Head Office based in South Leeds, the company have gone through significant change and growth over the last 18 months, and they are now looking to recruit a new Sales Ledger Clerk, to join their Credit Control team.


This role will work as part of a team of 5 in Credit Control, and report directly to the Credit Control Manager.

The key duties of the role will include:

Sending Invoices & Statements by email and post

Posting and Allocating Cash
Contacting Customers by telephone and email
Preparation of Credit Notes for sign off
Processing Price Credits on the system
Logging of Debit Notes & keeping spreadsheets up to date
Using various Customer Portals for claims / disputes / Remittance Advices
Liaising with internal departments
Weekly cheque banking / preparation
Scanning documents
Sending Customer Complaints to Sites
Dealing with Queries


The successful candidate will have:

A minimum of 18 months experience in sales ledger role
The ability to work in a fast paced, high volume environment
