Description:

Sales Ledger Clerk required for leisure organisation based in Langley Mill.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in managing the aged debt portfolio across the whole business.

* Actively chase outstanding debt by contacting the clients directly via Telephone and email.

* Ability to investigate the sales ledger and ensure effective clear down.

* Keeping diarised details per customer of debt chasing, to ensure prompt and efficient payments are received.

* Gaining an understanding of different billing models and VAT implications.

* Raising manual and ad hoc invoices and Credit Notes.

* Upload invoices to the Sales Ledger.

* Posting and reconciling the receivables bank account.

* Ensuring compliance and maintenance of the Credit control policy.

Required skills and Experience

* Proven credit control experience

* Intermediate excel skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

* Effective time management in meeting deadlines.

* Proactive individual and part of a team.

In return, the successful candidate will receive:

* Monday to Friday

* 37.5 hours

* Company pension

* Holiday entitlement of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays

* Upto £23,000 Per Annum
