KCR are delighted to recruiting a Sales Ledger Clerk for an excellent client based in Cramlington. The role will work with the sales ledger team to process financial documents and data in a timely and accurate manner, ideally the successful candidate will also be able to assist the purchase ledger team as and when required.

Main duties will include:

  • Carries out credit checks on customers & maintains customer data
  • Processes sales invoices in an accurate and timely manner
  • Prepares and sends customer statements
  • Processes payments from customers to sales ledger in an accurate and timely manner
  • General administration duties; printing, filing, scanning etc.
  • Other related duties as assigned or requested.

Key skills required:

  • Previous experience in a busy accounts environment
  • Experience of using ERP systems
  • Good experience with Excel and other MS Office packages
  • Good negotiation, communication and analytical skills
