My client, who operate in the Food/FMCG arena are looking for a highly motivated Sales Ledger / Office Assistant to complement the team. This is a great opportunity for quick progression into a supervisory role.

Role and responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of Age Debtors Report and provide insight on debts on a regular basis
2. Send Customer Statements on a Monthly basis
3. Raise customer invoices (manually and through EDI)
4. Ensure chasing deadlines are met
5. Cash Handling and dealing with distributors
6. Raise and check the delivery notes (Matching, Batching & Raising invoices)
7. Resolve queries with customer (sales order, proof of delivery etc.)
8. Ad-hoc - general admin work (filing, photocopying, answering calls)
9. Liaising with Couriers for booking, collection and delivery

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have the following essentials skills and experience:
• Be proactive, delivery focused and operate in a high paced environment
• Adaptable and flexible to working in an evolving organisation.
• Sage Line 50 experience would be ideal but not essential
• Previous Sales Ledger experience would be beneficial but not essential
• Supervisory experience would be beneficial but not essential
