Sales Ledger Clerk

Kingston Upon Hull (Central)

* AAT or equivalent Bookkeeping experience.

* Strong IT/Excel skills.

* Sales Ledger & General Accounting responsibilities.

About the Company

Based in East Yorkshire my client is an established and respected organisation with an enviable reputation for product quality and service excellence. As part of the continued evolution of the local finance team the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre Sales Ledger Clerk.

Specific responsibilities:

* Production of sales ledger invoices.

* Dealing with invoice queries in an effective and timely manner.

* Problem solving and dealing with complex queries.

* Posting customer receipts onto the system and allocating against the relevant invoices.

* Ensure good relations and communications with other members of the finance team and responding politely and in a timely fashion to internal and external customers.

* Setting up new customers on the system.

* Input credit notes and correspondence onto databases/systems.

* Sales Ledger account reconciliation.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be an accurate, highly organised individual with a real eye for detail and ideally have had experience working within a fast-paced environment.
