Job Overview

Reporting into the Sales Ledger Team Leader, the Sales Ledger Clerk will be part of a busy finance team and will support the sales ledger department in processing sales orders and dealing with customer queries and emails. This role will also support the management accounts function of the business, especially over month-end periods. These are very exciting times to join the business as it is currently going through a massive phase of transition and growth.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Sales order processing
Generating sales invoices and credit notes
Processing cancellations and contract amendments
Working closely with the Sales team to ensure that orders are processed correctly
Cash posting and allocations
Responding to customer emails and general accounts related queries
Any other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time

Skills and Qualifications:

Must be educated to degree level or above
Basic Excel working knowledge
Attention to detail, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work under strict deadlines
Previous experience of working in Sales Ledger department advantageous but not essential as full training will be provided
Salesforce and / or Access Dimensions experience will be advantageous but not essential
