A regional business who support internal development, offer quality of service to customers, both internally and externally are seeking a Sales Ledger Clerk for an immediate permanent position. You will support an existing and small Sales and Credit Control Team managing the credit control and sales ledger. You will have experience in a similar role, dealing with high level of debt, working on keys accounts within a business to business environment.

Other key tasks will include;

Assisting the finance team to support period end

Review processes to ensure the debt is managed efficiently

Build and maintain key relationships with customers to reduce debt

Work closely with the Credit Supervisor to meet debt targets

Assist in daily cash reconciliations

Advise on customer that are a potential risk

The successful candidate will:

Have proven experience in a similar Sales Ledger/Credit Control position

Strong attention to detail

A team player

Confident in putting forward ideas

Strong analytical skills

Good knowledge of accounting systems
