RM Recruit are working with a Birmingham based service provider to recruit an interim Sales Ledger Clerk for a 9 month contract. This role has been specifically created to assist with a backlog of invoices to be evaluated against customer enquires for resolution before being passed to credit control.

Supporting the Senior Credit Controller, your remit will include:

* Analysing the ledger and finding discrepancies

* Successfully dealing with customer queries for quick resolution

* Accurate logging queries and actions

* Statement reconciliations

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a previous role where overdue and disputed invoices have been the focus of your attention. Issues could include such examples as inaccurate PO numbers, incorrectly billed hours or disputes around agreed payment terms. You will possess excellent problem solving ability and a calm and delivered manner as to deal with a range of customers and manage potentially difficult relationships.

This role will be mainly homeworking but visits to the office once or twice a month would be necessary. A start date in April 2021 is anticipated
