Sales Ledger Clerk

Location: Stockton On Tees
Salary: £20,000 per annum
Hours: Mon- Fri- Full Time, 35 hours per week
Type: 12 months contract

Imperial Professionals are delighted to be working exclusively with a key client of ours based in Stockton On Tees for the supply of a Sales Ledger Clerk

Responsibilities:

Process invoices that are accurate and complete including upload into Sage 200, identify \"missing\" invoice events
Work closely with Operations to drive process improvement that speeds up month-end sales reporting
Support Management Accountants with the ownership of the P&L by providing timely and accurate sales reports and analysis
Build a good knowledge of the customer terms and conditions to ensure they are applied as contracted
Maintain the customer pricing database
Maintenance of customer files

Requirements/Skills:

Sage experience
Ideally detailed sales ledger experience
Highly computer literate with the ability to process information quickly but accurately (particularly with regards to Excel & Word)
Very good organisation and communication skills
Ideally working towards a professional qualification
Knowledge of basic accounting
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels
Good team player and self-starter
A desire to learn and develop
Be willing to embrace company culture and values
