Sales Ledger Assistant

Our construction client is looking for a Sales Ledger Assistant to work alongside its Finance Manager and Purchase Ledger Assistant.

What does it entail?

  • Creating and distributing customer invoices
  • Chasing outstanding debts to ensure prompt payments are received
  • Handling invoice queries buy phone and email
  • Dealing with CIS payments
  • Record keeping
  • General accounts duties

What skills and experience do I need?

  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience of producing invoices and chasing payments
  • A practical understanding of CIS payments
  • Good working knowledge of Sage 50
  • Familiarity with the building industry
  • Good telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills
