Description

As the Sales Ledger Assistant reporting into the Group Management Accountant based from the Mitcham, Surrey office you will be responsible for:

Cashbook / Sales Ledger
Producing sales application and invoices accurately and in timely manner
Setting up new clients
Posting daily receipts
Banking
Posting journals
Recording credit card transactions
Chasing up outstanding debts occasionally

Adhoc Duties:

Provide support in other areas of the accounts department as and when requiredProfile

Previous Sales Ledger experience
Good working knowledge of excel
Basic understanding of double entry
Construction industry experience would be benefical
Establishing good relation and communications with all members of staff and responding politely in timely fashion both to internal and external customers.
A good eye for detail
Reliable and conscientious
Maintaining confidentiality and using discretion where necessary
Working with all members of staff to maintain and develop positive culture withinJob Offer

£20,000-£25,000 depending on experience

Hours Monday - Thursday - 9am - 5.30pm hour for lunch

Friday - 9am - 4.30pm hour for lunch
