Our successful client in Stoke on Trent is seeking a temporary Sales Ledger Assistant to support the accounts department for approximately 6-8 weeks. This Sales Ledger Assistant role has become available due to an internal promotion and is an interim position until the business can secure a permanent member for the team.

Job Description:

Duties for the temporary Sales Ledger Assistant role will include:

Raising invoices and maintaining the sales ledger
Helping the team with management reporting
Processing rent and other bank payments
Reporting on daily cashflows
Fixed asset recognition and reconciliation
Processing insurance claims
Assisting with day-to-day tasks of the Finance team
Working with people from across the Group and helping with Finance enquiriesFor the Sales Ledger Assistant role, we are seeking candidates who have the following:

Sales Ledger / Accounts Receivable experience
An understanding of raising invoices, sales ledgers and credit control
Basic understanding of fixed assets, insurance, management reporting, audit trails and VAT would be useful
Great IT and excellent communication skills
Attention to detail and being a team player is essentialHours: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week between the hours of 8.30am - 5.30pm

Salary: £12.08 per hour
