Sales Ledger Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join our newly created shared service team based at our Telford site.

Key responsibilities of a Sales Ledger Assistant include:

* Monitor all cash received through Autobank & manage all exceptions ensuring reconciliation of customer payments & accurately maintaining the sales ledger

* Support and manage customers that are transferring to the online platform ensuring they are paying into the correct bank and sending remits to the correct email.

* Process of Suppliers invoices

* Communicate relevant information to the management team of all key issues.

* Ensure processes are maintained & performed accurately and in accordance with policy

* Execute Direct Debit payments

* Consistently provide a high level of service to our external and internal customer's.

* Adhoc duties may include reporting, manual invoicing, scanning and filling

* Support the Marketing deductions process from the credit control perspective by overseeing the process to ensure efficient resolution

Key skills & experience:

* Financial systems (SAP, AS400)

* FMCG experience

* Confident Negotiating skills

* Understanding of finance processes

* PC literate (Microsoft Office Essential) Intermediate/Advanced excel skills

* Understanding/Enforcement of Business Compliance Policies

* Accurate.

* Analytical

* Movex/SOP

* Excellent Organizational Skills
