Sales Ledger Assistant

Description:

Premiere Personnel are currently recruiting for a skilled Sales Ledger Assistant to work on behalf of one our highly prestigious pet food manufacturing clients based in Gilberdye.

This is a temp to perm role, meaning that successful candidates will be taken on permanent after 12 weeks.

You will be responsible for all aspects of customer relationship management and be part of a team responsible for all aspects of admin and sales for the business.

Main duties:

* Reception

* Booking sales order by phone and email

* Advising customers on products, shortfalls pricing and delivery

* Releasing orders after despatch and invoicing

* Telesales and campaign calling

* Payment processing

* Support National Account Managers

* Mail shots and web promotions/ leaflets

* Customer complaint resolution

* New account documentation

* Ordering of stationary and consumables

* System management with multi-national customers

* Maintaining and up to date stockist list

* Post

* Web enquiries

Required skills:

* Good organisational skills and a systematic approach to task completion

* Effective time management

* Attention to detail

* Good communication skills as you will be dealing with colleagues and clients at all levels

* Computer literate and competent with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

* To be able to work as part of a team but also be able to prioritise your own workload

You will ideally have a background in sales and office work.

You will be given full system training.

You may also be required to cover other staff members due to holidays or sickness so some level of flexibility is required.

Salary:

£10 per hours starting salary

Hours:

08:45 - 17:00 Monday to Friday

One hour lunch
