Location: London

Salary: £24,000-£27,000 dependant on experience

Type of Work: Full time-Fixed term contract-3 months

Closing Date: Tuesday 19th October 2021

Hours: Full time-40 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Better healthcare Services Ltd are looking for a dedicated Sales Ledger assistant to join our team based in our Head office in London on a 3 month fixed term contract.

The role of Sales Ledger Assistant is to take ownership of the sales ledger, to include raising invoices for a wide variety of departments.

The Sales Ledger Assistant will also support the finance team and branch manager to be effective in delivering business strategy by supporting with sales ledger across the company.

Key duties will include:

• Raise and process invoices within agreed timescales.

• Ensure unallocated cash is kept to a minimum.

• Maintain a record of all cheques received.

• Perform all aspects of the sales ledger administration procedure.

• Speak with customers regarding overdue invoices constructively by telephone or email within agreed timescales, ensuring issues are discussed with internal departments.

• Investigate anomalies or queries relating to invoices by liaising with Finance colleagues and other internal departments, as instructed.

• Complete account reconciliations when required.

• Escalate expected non-payments of overdue debts.

• Liaise with internal departments to set up new accounts.

• Produce monthly/weekly sales ledger statements and reports for review.

• Process and control daily cash returns.

• Perform weekly bank reconciliations.

We are looking for:

GCSEs AAT or professional qualifications desirable.

Sage Line 50.

Great knowledge of Excel and Excel functions

Incredible attention to detail.

Great organizational skills

Good time management skills

Good communication skills.

Ability to follow company policies

Ability to work independently and with a team
