Sales Ledger/Credit Control

A fast growing business close to Tutbury is looking for a professional Sales Ledger/Credit Controller to join a busy Finance team. This role forms a vital part of team working to ensure the business maintains low levels of aged debt.

What you will be responsible for:

* Processing of bank receipts

* Bank Reconciliations in multiple currencies

* General Banking

* Assisting the Senior Credit Control with debt collection, query resolution and logging for over 4000 live accounts

* Maintaining customer files

* Processing sales credit notes and refunds

* Assisting Senior Credit Controller in resolution of customer issues internally

* General Administration

We are looking for somebody with the following skills/experience:

* Somebody who is comfortable working in high volumes and a fast paced environment remaining calm under pressure

* Good spoken and written communication skills - assertive but tactful and persistent.

* Comfortable working on the phone for a high proportion of time

* Ability to prioritise workload

* Proven organisational skills with a methodical approach

* Ability to work to strict deadlines

* relevant experience in a similar role

* Proven IT skills in Excel and Word
