This is a full-time office-based role where you will be working alongside a supportive team and it would suit someone with a Manufacturing background. Day to day tasks of a Sales Ledger include but are not limited to:
* Dealing with Sales Ledger invoices.
* Maintenance of the Accounts Receivable functions.
* Ensuring timely payments to vendors including manual payments.
* Liaison with suppliers regarding disputes.
* Account reconciliations
* Raise invoices via Omnis then - Import into Sigma
* Email daily sales figure (checking all balanced first)
* Import invoice from Omnis to Sigma on a daily basis.
* Raise pro forma invoices on Excel- usually daily if needed, email to customer to pay.
* Keep a record of pro formas and action once paid
* Raise invoices through DHL Fedex TNT and UPS for goods going abroad, also manual invoice (if needed)
* Book out goods on websites and make sure they are collected- sometimes urgent.
* Arrange collection of goods on Pallets (UK)
Personal Requirements:
* Prior experience of working within a sales ledger team/billing department
* Competent IT skills, including intermediate Excel (essential) eg. Lookups, formulas, ledger/account reconciliations
* Manufacturing background
* High level of numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail (essential)
* Excellent communication skills
* Able to work well under pressure to tight timelines and have really good time management skills
This role will be 50% exports, such as raising invoices through DPD, FEDEX, TNT for foreign shipment. Training will be given
