The Essence of The Role

This role would suit an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk who is looking for a role to develop their career in finance. The main responsibilities of this role will be managing the debts of the business, reviewing cash flow by recovering any unpaid money owed, reducing debt, increasing cash flow and reducing risk. You will have experience of working in a busy finance team and will be looking to develop your existing skills, with a flexible can-do attitude. A proven ability to provide an outstanding level of service to all customers is also essential.

Scope of the Sales Ledger Administrator

Processing of invoices, credit/debit notes and cash receipts
Banking and bank reconciliation
Creating new customer accounts
Issuing and reconciliation of customer account statements
Regular communications with clients to assist with any payments
Credit control via email, telephone, or letterhead of upcoming or outstanding invoices
Monitoring of customer accounts on credit stop
Reviewing credit stopped orders and contacting credit stopped customers.

Qualified or currently studying AAT preferably
Educated to a degree level
SME background
Strong IT Skills. Excel and Sage experience is desirable
