THE JOB:

Sales Ledger Administrator
Up to £24k per annum
Wickford, Essex
Permanent, Full time
9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
Two 20 minute breaks (paid) | 30 minute lunch break (unpaid)

We are recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join our client based in Wickford, Essex. Our client is a leading national distributor in the construction industry. This role sits within their busy accounts team.

Main Duties

  • Production of daily invoices and monthly statements.
  • Taking customer telephone calls and solving queries.
  • Setting up new customer accounts.
  • Maintenance of existing account details on the system.
  • Taking and processing customer payments.
  • All aspects of credit control including chasing overdue payments.
  • Raising credit notes.
  • General office administration supporting the team.

Key skills and experience

  • Previous account administration experience preferred.
  • Strong customer communication skills.
  • Comfortable picking the phone up and speaking to customers confidently.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to a varied and challenging role.
  • Team player.
  • Positive attitude.
