Permanent Purchase Ledger Team Leader opportunity with a large and highly successful Manufacturing and Production sector business based in Warwickshire to support in all areas of staff management, service delivery and process improvement.

My client is a highly successful, growing and reputable Manufacturing and Production sector client based in Warwickshire. The organisation are going through an incredibly busy period and with extensive growth over the last 18 months despite COVID they are now looking to expand their Payables team and recruit a skilled Purchase Ledger Team Leader to support the continuous improvement of the service. The organisation are incredibly stable and cash rich and can offer a highly rewarding opportunity for the successful candidate.


The Purchase Ledger Team Leader role will involve:

Day to day staff management of a team of circa 10 Purchase Ledger staff
Ensuring workflows are constantly reviewed and managed effectively and accurately
Monitoring team KPI\'s and reporting performance to Manager and Directors
Managing internal stakeholder relationships and identifying areas for process improvement
Working in conjunction with internal stakeholders to improve processes and overall performance
Support with projects to improve the Payables process including system implementations and upgrades (SAP)
Deal with escalated key supplier issues effectively
Produce and present reports to senior finance staff periodically and manage the month end process effectivelyProfile

To be considered for this exciting and rewarding opportunity in Warwickshire you must have a strong supervisory or management background in P2P and ideally have exposure to SAP. Any experience in process improvement would be desireable although a can do attitude and strong work ethic would be just as interesting from my client. You will need to be positive, proactive, a real team player and be able to motivate your team effectively to manage high workloads accurately.
