Covers all aspects of the Purchase Ledger and Cash-book; to promote the smooth-running of the finance department and provide information for management accounts to be produced by the Financial Controller. To operate confidentially with regard to sensitive information. Must have prior working knowledge of Sage 200.

Key tasks & responsibilities

* Processing of Purchase Ledger invoices

* Ensure month-end tasks are completed

* Raising of payments and co-approval of payments

* Arranging foreign currency and processing payments

* Support in the completion of and submission of quarterly VAT return including scale charges

* Support in the completion of and submission of monthly EC Sales Return (as required)

* Support in the completion of and filing of monthly CIS Return

* Monthly corporate charge card & credit card processing

* Petty cash management and reconciliation

* Staff expenses coding and reimbursements

* Directors general expenses coding and reimbursement

* Directors mileage recording and private vehicle expenses

* Administrator for SAGEPAY and checking receipts

* Checking PAYPAL receipts and reconciling to bank

* Maintain prepayment and fixed asset register if requested by FC
