An exciting opportunity to join a FTSE listed consumer business as an experienced Purchase Ledger supervisor. Reporting into Purchase Ledger Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the team are efficient along with your influence to drive to make performance improvements within the team. Working very closely with other team leaders across the business, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the future changes needed to continue to always deliver accurate and timely reconciliation across the group within a fast-paced team.


Provide accurate and timely management information and key performance indicators to Accounts Payable Manager
Challenge, review, recommend and implement best practice to promote continual improvement within the AP processes
Develop and control process workflows to ensure accuracy and efficiency through best practice.
Responsible for provision of training and clear guidelines for the specified processes
Supplier account reconciliation
Invoice process management Omnidox, SAP and Concur
Debit balances reduction and recovery
Provide first level advice to internal & external suppliers & customers
Supervise and manage employees in accordance with company policy
Provide support for audit and other internal and external bodies
Essential skills and experience required

Minimum 4 years Purchase Ledger experience
Supervisor experience
Strong team leadership skills - able to plan, direct & review the work of the team
Able to coach, motivate and inspire
Working knowledge of SAP
Proven track record in delivering process improvements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Self-motivated and proactive
Able to work under pressure
Strong organisation and planning ability
Flexible and adaptable to change
A high level of integrity and a professional approach
Energetic and hands on
