Our clients, are a leading UK Manufacturing Company who are based in Wellington, they have a great opportunity and are seeking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to manage this function on a part time basis. (30 hours per week)

The purpose of the role is to be responsible for their supplier accounts by dealing with transactions and queries and making payments.
Purchase Ledger
· Ensure that supplier accounts are maintained to reflect accurate and up-to-date information
· Process all necessary transactions within agreed timescales
· Ensure suppliers are paid correctly and in accordance with company policy
· Ensure expenses are paid correctly and in accordance with company policy
· Ensure maximum discount is taken from suppliers
· Produce monthly reports
· Resolve queries on supplier accounts
· Maintain good relationships with suppliers
· Bank reconciliation and cash book processing

· Produce additional management information as requested
· Provide external auditors with all schedules requested
· Ensure all documentation is filed away and easy to retrieve
· Ensure the department is kept tidy and all Health and Safety procedures are observed at all times
· Seek ways to make continuous improvements to working methods and processes
ideal candidate will have previous purchase ledger experience and working knowledge of Word and Excel.
