We are looking for a highly motivated individual with previous purchase ledger or accounts experience to support the Accounts team in the day-to-day accounts function.
*The role will be responsible for: *
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is processed speedily, efficiently and accurately
• Post and code a high volume of purchase invoices
• Manage and maintain registered documents
• Accurately process all purchase invoices to the ledger and manage the purchase ledger aged creditors
• Reconcile supplier statements and process monthly supplier payments
• Manage and maintain busy mailbox
• Deal with daily queries for internal and external sources
*To be successful you will: *
• Previous experience in purchase ledger or accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good team work skills
• Ability to work on own initiative where required
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A knowledge of the industry preferable, but not essential
