Adecco Chester are proudly recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within the Finance department of our well-established client within the travel industry, based in the centre of Chester

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Working hours: The position is temporary and full-time, 37.5 hrs Mon-Fri, typical working hours 9.00-17:30.

This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate

Our client is looking for an immediate start and the role is an ongoing position.

Work from home is also available for 2 days in the office at a minimum between Tuesday - Thursday

Key responsibilities include:

Process transactions, enter invoices on the accounts system and make payments, ensuring they are actioned in an accurate and timely manner

Authorise multi-currency invoices on the reservations systems and produce relevant reports following Company procedures
Request approval for overhead invoices for prompt return and make payments in line with contractual agreements
Review and process staff expense payments
Reconcile any discrepancies and errors identified
Work alongside the Management Accountant in all aspects of the financeKey skills include:

Experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles
Outstanding communication and inter-personal skills
Use of Microsoft Dynamics or a similar accounting package
Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Packages most noticeably Excel
