I have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Purchase Ledger operator or co-ordinator to join a growing and established business in Nottingham. Based just outside the City Centre with free parking this business is looking for someone to join their busy Finance department. The client can offer a highly competitive package.

Description

  • Processing high volume of invoices and identify invoices that need to be paid promptly and within credit terms
  • Preparing Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Preparing and processing payment runs - BACS
  • Processing manual payments
  • Maintain accurate supplier ledgers
  • Liaising with internal operations departments and external suppliers on query resolution
  • Processing nominal ledger allocations
  • Setting up and verifying new suppliers
  • Assisting with closing the ledger at month end

Profile

The ideal candidate is someone that is wanting to be part of a growing business and that is able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. As well as this you should have the following skills:

  • Experienced in Purchase Ledger
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • AAT Level 2 / Equivalent qualification such as Finance Degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft programs, in particular Excel.

Job Offer

  • £24,000 to £27,000 depending on experience
