Purchase Ledger Assistant

A well-established client in Witham are looking for an Purchase ledger Assistant to join their finance department on a permanent basis.

Role

Responsibility of the purchase ledger function as well as supporting other departments within the business with holiday/sickness cover, administration requirements and other projects as required.

Main Responsibilities

• Raising purchase ledger invoices- 3 way matching to high volumes
• Building/ Maintaining customer relationships
• Dealing with supplier queries, over the phone and via email
• Reconciliation
• Bank posting

Requirements

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage own workload
• Able to work in a team as well as independently
• Can work on own initiate
• Ability to learn and adapt
• Previous experience in an accounts environment
• Good Level of Excel capability
• Understanding of accounting principles
