KCR Solutions are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger for an excellent client in Cramlington.

Contract type - Initial contract up to Christmas with the potential to go permanent.

Salary - £17,000 to £19,000

Hours - 9:00 to 5:00

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Dealing with all purchase invoices and entering them onto the accounts system with correct code
  2. Liaising with other departments and suppliers to rectify purchase queries
  3. Matching invoices to orders and delivery notes
  4. General photocopying and filing of accounts paperwork
  5. Maintaining the creditors ledger
  6. Any ad-hoc admin duties that may arise


  1. Experience in Sage Line 50
  2. Sage 200 experience would be beneficial but not essential
  3. Relevant purchase ledger experience
  4. Computer literate demonstrating comfortable with using Microsoft office (primarily excel)
  5. Flexible approach and willingness to help where required
  6. Able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills
  7. Good telephone manner
  8. Able to demonstrate good organisational skills
  9. A methodical and accurate person who naturally enjoys attention to detail
