Accounts Payable Clerk /Purchase Ledger Controller Job - Near Anstry - Coventry
Vardey Recruitment is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk (Purchase Ledger Controller) to take responsibility of the accounts payable function of this highly innovative forward thinking, international technology business based near Coventry, West Midlands.

Job duties
* Full control of the purchase ledger to include the coding and processing of supplier invoices
* Processing supplier payments
* First point of contact to resolve supplier queries, ensuring all invoices are paid to terms
* Statement reconciliations
* Liaising and working across other internal departments
* Setting up supplier and maintenance of supplier information
* VAT input recovery
* Adding new ideas and processes to the job
* Assist with other finance related duties (accounts receivable, expenses, and banking)
The ideal candidate
* Experience working in an accounts payable job (purchase ledger clerk job)
* Good IT and Excel skills
* Able to work independently
* Make changes where necessary and bring ideas to the table
* Able to improves purchase ledger processes and procedures and work to tight deadlines
* Flexible and keen to work in fast paced environment

* A market competitive basic salary ranging from £22,000-£24,000 + 2k bonus approx.
