Job Description

The Purchase Ledger Controller will have a wide range of responsibilities including:

Processing the weekly payment runs

Checking and uploading new suppliers

Managing the online banking

Processing payments for ad hoc payments

Managing the expenses for the company

Posting journals

Supplier statement reconciliations

Weekly payments to the HMRC

VAT reconciliations Quarterly

Managing the direct debits

Managing the Petty cash.

Other ad hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

The sucessful Purchase Ledger Controller will live locally in the Thame/Aylesbury area and be happy to work in a covid secure office 5 days a week. The individual must have a strong background in accounts, ideally within Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable.

The individual must also be:

Highly organised

Computer literate

Warm friendly and professional manner

High attention to detail

Willing to contribute to a close knit finance team

What\'s on Offer

The salary on offer for the Purchase Ledger Controller is £26,000 - £28,000 dependent upon experience, plus a generous benefits and bonus scheme.
