Purchase Ledger Controller - Blackburn up to 24k

Adele Carr Recruitment are pleased to be working with a family run company based in Blackburn which have been successfully operating for over 30 years. The company have a strong reputation, well respected within their market and have achieved steady growth through long-standing business relationships.

They are looking to strengthen their accounts department by hiring an Purchase Ledger Controller reporting to the Finance Manager. 50% of this role will be purchase ledger focused but you will be given opportunity to assist in other areas of accounts administration.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing the Purchase Ledger, matching and batching invoices.
  • Regular supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting with sales invoicing and other month end duties

The Ideal Candidate

  • Solid experience in purchase ledger
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident Excel skills and Sage 200 experience would be advantageous
  • Willingness to learn other aspects of accounts administration

To be considered you must have experience within purchase ledger/accounts payable and experience of Sage software is advantageous.
