Purchase Ledger Clerk

FRS are recruiting an excellent Purchase Ledger Clerk for a market leading construction business based in Coventry.

The business are experiencing a period of rapid growth with a number of exciting projects on the go / pending, and it is a really exciting time to be joining the business.

Alongside a competitive starting salary of £22,000 - £24,000, the business are offering a 10% bonus and hybrid working (2 days per week from home, with laptop, monitor, desk, chair etc. provided).

The business offer a range of employee wellbeing programmes, extended Christmas leave (not taken from your holiday allowance), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and your birthday off work.

The business are based in Coventry City Centre but they have free on-site parking.

Duties will include:

- Register and post incoming invoices- Register any invoices not posted to the system and reasons why (returned to supplier)- Obtain new supplier information required- Ensure supplier ring backs have been done for new suppliers- Post invoices, ensure CIS and VAT have been posted correctly- Run payment proposals and amend as necessary- Load payments to online banking- Complete credit forms- Post development credit card transactions- Chase receipts and pro formas- Run weekly reports- Tasks as allocated by the ledger supervisor

Suitable candidates will have / be:

- Highly organised with a logical approach- Professional, proficient and proactive in approach- Excellent relationship builder and able to influence- Ability to communicate proficiently both in writing and orally - particularly on the telephone - Likes to work as part of a team but equally comfortable working alone- Enjoys the challenge of multitasking and delivering- Excellent common sense and good sense of judgement- Completely computer literate and a high familiarity with Microsoft Office
