Purchase ledger clerk job for a property company based in Altrincham paying up to £26k Your new companyThis highly reputable ever-growing property company are looking for a purchase ledger clerk to join their finance team due to company growth. This company is constantly growing and it is an exciting time to join the company and develop your skills.Your new roleOn a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for:

• Organise/collate all incoming invoices, matching to Goods received notes.
• Ensure correct approvals obtained prior to processing.
• Regular interaction with commercial and production departments to obtain authorisations and resolve queries.
• Inputting invoice details onto our financial management/accounting system, ensuring VAT is correctly applied.
• Undertake monthly supplier reconciliations, addressing/resolving email and telephone queries as required.
• Compiling reports as required; organise/collate back up to support payment runs; monitor and clear down unallocated cash.
• Organise/archive paid invoices/credit notes accordingly.
• Maintain Insurances tracker book is up to date, file new copies of insurances and chase ones that have expired.

What you'll need to succeedYou will need to have purchase ledger experience and be able to process a high volume of invoices. Having a strong attention to detail and work ethic would be highly advantageous to your application. You will need some accounting systems knowledge but they currently operate on a bespoke system.What you'll get in returnYou will receive up to £26k and will have the access to have a hybrid working model.
