Description:

Our client in Northampton are currently looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team.

The salary is £23-£25kpa (depending on experience) and is fully office based in Northampton.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To check and post all purchase invoices, matching invoices with purchase orders/delivery notes
  2. Maintaining electronic filing of invoices in line with financial regulations
  3. To support in processing of expense claims and credit card statements on a timely basis
  4. To support in reconciling payments on the purchase ledger and allocating payments for Suppliers
  5. Helping to resolve invoice or payment queries with internal managers, external suppliers
  6. To assist in reconciling the purchase ledger accounts with third party statements
  7. To seek approval of purchase invoices from staff within the company and update the finance systems
  8. Preparing the timely paying of all supplier payments

Main criteria:

  1. Solid purchase ledger experience
  2. Happy to go to office 5 days a week
  3. Experience of using Sage
  4. Dealing with multi-site would be advantageous
