Description:

Due to continued growth we are supporting our client, a leader within the Homebuilding Industry in recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk, working on a full-time basis in Warrington to provide support to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor.

The successful applicant will provide support for all Purchase Ledger duties including:
* Checking and processing purchase invoices
* Marching and coding subcontractor invoices
* Ensuring purchase orders are authorised in line with company policies and matched with invoices for processing
* Importing invoice files from invoice scanner to accounting software
* Weekly medical report payment runs
* Reconcile supplier statements on a consistent basis, following up on queries and missing invoices
* Assisting with month end duties relating to prepayments and accruals
* Ad hoc finance duties to support wider finance team

Skills and Essentials
* Experience of working within a finance department with experience of Purchase Ledger processes.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience working under pressure and to tight timescales.
* Strong organisational skills
* Good attention to detail
* Sage Line 200 preferably
* Good excel skills
* AAT Study Preferable, but not essential
